Our History

The roots of our community initiative trace back to 1988, when a group of visionary leaders, deeply inspired by the values of unity and upliftment, came together with a dream to support students from our Ediga community.

This noble journey was inspired by the legacy of Ediga Anjinappa Demakethepalli, the First President, along with respected figures like RPGT Venkata Ramanappa and Kotnur Anjinappa, who laid the foundation of purpose and service.

The organization was formally founded by:

  • Ediga Adimurthy
  • Ramakrishnappa
  • Devendraiah
  • E. Venkata Naraya (2nd President)

Their own life experiences shaped this mission. During their higher studies, Ediga Adimurthy and Ramakrishnappa faced significant hardships—lack of food, shelter, and basic amenities. Having experienced these struggles, they were motivated to create a supportive space for students in Hindupur.

With that vision, a hostel was established, aiming to provide a safe, nurturing environment for students pursuing higher education. The hostel was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy, marking a significant milestone in our journey.

Initially, the hostel operated from rented premises for five years. Over time, with community effort and support, we were proud to establish our own dedicated hostel facility, fulfilling the original vision of our founders.

We gratefully remember our past presidents who carried this mission forward:

  • E. Venkata Naraya (2nd President)
  • Pulla Reddy (3rd President)

Today, the spirit of service continues, rooted in the sacrifices and dreams of our founding members. Our journey stands as a testament to what a committed community can achieve together.
